Our Client’s Say:-
“Andrew goes above and beyond to support you on your cases and give you all the facts that you need. Andrew has recently helped me with an Upper Tribunal Application and without him I don’t think we would have been successful. Thank you Andrew”
The law on boundary disputes can be complex and often involves looking at the property deeds or plans to check the correct placement or obtain expert evidence from a surveyor on the issue to help the court on the boundary line.
I can help with sensible commercial advice, and represent clients in Court and can instruct expert surveyors.
How the process works
The first stage in a boundary dispute will always be to consider the documents relating to the correct position of the boundary, and whether there are any potential blocks to a claim such as a claim such as adverse possession.
In the early stages, I will always look to obtain a court compliant report to support the claim or defend a claim in relation to a boundary dispute as necessary. I have access to a wide range of court surveyors who are able to provide cost effective, robust reports in relation to such cases.
Mediation
I always attempt to try and resolve such disputes via mediation or other cost-effective methods before going to litigation and my view is that the key to resolving such disputes at an early stage are looking at the strength of the evidence and gathering any key evidence early on in the dispute to try and resolve it.
Litigation
If the case has to progress to litigation either because your neighbour will not cooperate, or because you are defending a claim in relation to a boundary, i will provide a robust but cost-effective litigation service all on fixed fees. At all times, I aim to try and resolve the dispute with sound commercial advice but if a case has to go to trial I will be there to assist you.
